How to create your first campaign

What is a campaign?

A campaign in Tessel is the central space to organize your tabletop RPG sessions. You can record notes, characters, sessions, and share content with the community.

Creating a campaign

1. In the sidebar, click Campaigns.
2. Click New campaign.
3. Fill in the name and description.
4. Choose whether the campaign will be private or public in the community.
5. Click Create.

Adding content

With the campaign created, you can add:

• Notes — record any relevant information.
• Sessions — organize past and upcoming sessions.
• Characters — register NPCs and PCs for the campaign.
• Public fragments — select excerpts to display in the community.

Making it public

To appear in the community, go to Campaign settings → Visibility → Public.
