What credits are
Credits are the unit consumed by Tessel's AI features.
What consumes credits
- Audio transcription — proportional to the session length.
- Fragment extraction and summary — per processed session.
- Palantir chat — per interaction.
- Image generation — per image, depending on quality.
Non-AI actions (creating notes, organizing characters, manual editing) do not consume credits.
When credits run out
AI features become unavailable until the cycle renews or until you change plans. Content you already created stays accessible as usual.
